Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident using BriefShot. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work. If something isn't right, please reach out — we'd rather sort it out than leave you with a bad experience.

We offer a 14-day refund policy for all purchases, in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms. You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, regardless of usage.

1. Subscriptions

Monthly plans

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you'll keep full access and your remaining credits until then.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase.

Free plan

The free plan is free. No payment is taken, so no refund applies.

2. Credit Top-Ups (One-Time Purchases)

You may request a full refund within 14 days of purchasing a credit pack, regardless of how many credits have been used. Top-up credits do not expire and carry over indefinitely.

3. Technical Failures

If a credit was deducted but your shoot plan failed to generate due to a technical error on our end, we will restore the credit to your account or issue a refund — no questions asked.

Please email hello@briefshot.app with your account email and the approximate time of the failed generation.

4. How to Request a Refund

  1. Email hello@briefshot.app with the subject line “Refund Request”
  2. Include your account email address and a brief description of the issue
  3. We'll review your request and respond within 3 business days
  4. Approved refunds are processed via Paddle (our payment provider) and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly before raising a dispute with your bank or card provider. We're a small team and we genuinely want to help.

We reserve the right to decline refund requests in cases of clear abuse or fraudulent usage.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of BriefShot after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
